Euclid Corridor/Buckeye Region

Region Description

The Eucild Corridor/ Buckeye Region generally covers the area east of the Cuyahoga River, south of the Innerbelt/Cedar Avenue and east of East 93rd/Woodhill. The Euclid Corridor/ Buckeye Committee also reviews projects in the  Shaker Square Historic District as advisory to the Cleveland Landmarks Commission.

The Euclid Corridor/Buckeye Region generally includes the area east of the Innerbelt freeway between Cedar and Chester Avenues. It includes the Midtown area north to Payne and the University Circle area. Additionally, this Region has been updated to include Buckeye/Shaker Square, Larchmere and Mt. Pleasant neighborhoods.

This region includes the following Design Review Districts:

  • Burten Bell Carr Design Review District Opportunity Corridor Design Review District  
  • Midtown Design Review District
  • Cedar Design Review District
  • University Circle Design Review District
  • Buckeye Road Design Review District
  • Mount Pleasant Design Review District

 The Euclid Corridor/Buckeye Committee also reviews projects in the Ingleside (E. 75th Street), Newton Avenue, and Prospect Avenue Historic Districts as advisory to the Cleveland Landmarks Commission.
