City of Cleveland Debuts 2018 Three-Year Capital Improvement Plan

The City of Cleveland 2018 Three-Year Capital Improvement Plan was presented to Cleveland City Council. Capital projects range from street resurfacing to protected bike lanes to sidewalk repair to parks and recreation projects. These projects illustrate Mayor Frank G. Jackson’s commitment to building a better and more equitable Cleveland for all residents. As in previous years, the 2018-2021 plan outlines key capital projects to be completed in neighborhoods throughout the City of Cleveland.

Mayor Jackson Introduces 2018 Budget

Cleveland City Council began its hearings on Mayor Frank G. Jackson's proposed budget on February 20th. To lead into two weeks of hearings, Mayor Jackson met with City Council to present the budget and answer questions posed by council members. Each of the city's divisions and departments will meet with City Council over the next two weeks to present their budget items and take council questions.

Mayor Frank G. Jackson Appoints Sharon Dumas as Interim Chief of Staff

CLEVELAND –Mayor Frank G. Jackson today administered the Oath of Office to Sharon Dumas, swearing her in as the Interim Chief of Staff. She will hold the position while the city conducts a search for a permanent Chief of Staff. Dumas will also retain her position as the city’s Director of Finance.
