How can I get a certified copy of a birth or death certificate?

How much do the Birth/Death certificates cost?

There is a fee of $25.00 for each certified copy. In addition, credit card fees may apply.

Does Office of Vital Records issue certified copies of vital records for all of Cuyahoga County?

This office does not issue records for Bedford, East Cleveland, Euclid, Lakewood, Parma, Rocky River, Shaker Heights, or University Heights. If you need a record from one of those communities, contact their City Hall.
