One lane of traffic is open in each direction at the intersection of Ontario and St. Clair where part of the road has collapsed due to a water main break.
Cleveland Police will be on site to direct traffic during rush hour on Monday, March 20, 2023.
A plug at the end of a 10” main gave way, possibly due to nearby utility work.
The road will remain closed while the damage is assessed and other underground utilities are repaired. The water is safe and no customers are without service.
There will be no parking in the area of the Justice Center (1300 Ontario Street) on Ontario Street or on St. Clair Avenue.
The no parking order will remain in effect until further notice. Please avoid the area if possible.
