Biography
M. E. Wells was born in Coolville, Ohio and came to Cleveland in 1906. He served as president of Griffin Construction Company from 1923 to 1930 but retired in 1930 due to ill health. He was the father of R. Neil Wells, vice president of the George A. Rutherford Company. He died in his home at 1448 Westwood in Lakewood and was buried in Sullivan, Ohio.
