Dwayne Browder Field

Mayor Frank G. Jackson, Councilwoman Phyllis Cleveland, and Director Michael Cox of the Department of Public Works, along with partners from various community organizations, cut the ribbon on new improvements to Dwayne Browder Field at Lonnie Burten Recreation Center in the Central neighborhood. The City invested $730,000 to purchase a new scoreboard, resurface the parking lot, and provide additional grandstands with a new press box. The new complex now holds over 1,000 fans.
