Project Dawn Program Teaches Overdose Emergency Response and Naloxone Administration

This program is for opioid users who are at risk of death, and their families and friends. Common opioids include heroin, OxyContin, methadone, Percocet and Vicodin. City and County medical officials teach attendees how to recognize and respond to overdoses and how to administer intranasal naloxone. This program is free to the public and held at several locations.
