Mayor Jackson Congratulates 2015 East Tech High School Volleyball Team and City Champions

Six students participating in the 2015 East Tech High School Volleyball Team were accompanied by their school’s coach and representative to Cleveland City Hall. The students were welcomed by Mayor Frank G. Jackson who congratulated them on their achievements. The students’ dedication and commitment are commendable and the hard work they put in helping their team win the City Championship deserves recognition.

  • 2015 Mayor's Holiday Basket Give-Away

    Clevelanders are invited to help make a difference by volunteering time with the Holiday Basket program. Assistance is needed at the Cleveland Foodbank as well as Zelma George and Michael Zone recreation centers. Volunteers can help pack and deliver baskets. 

  • Super Hero, Super Villian Art Contest for Youth

    Kids and teens are invited to submit original work for possible selection for public exhibition at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, which has over 30,000 visitors daily. The Youth Art Gallery provides exhibit opportunities for Northeast Ohio’s youth. Submissions are reviewed by an Art Review Panel and winning artists are featured on the airport’s website as well as at the airport. 


  • Plankton Fund Gives Dogs Second Chances

    The Plankton Fund was created in response to the heartworm positive dogs that come into the Cleveland Animal Care and Control (CACC) that have limited options due to the cost of heartworm treatment

  • Young Audiences' ArtWorks Program

    This arts-based job training program for high school students is designed to develop 21st Century skills for the workplace through apprenticeships in the arts. ArtWorks Flyer.
