The Cleveland Division of Fire hosted a Public Safety Event and Ice Cream Social at Fire Station Number 39 on Lorain Avenue. The Cleveland Division of Fire Firefighters canvassed the neighborhood on the Department’s Utility Vehicles and passed out free Smoke Alarm and open house information. Residents had an opportunity to receive free blood pressure monitoring checked by a team member of Cleveland’s Emergency Medical Service (EMS) and tour the fire station. In addition, attendees also met some animals from the Cleveland Animal Care and Control kennel who are in search of new homes, and enjoyed a few scoops of delicious ice cream.
