Mayor Jackson Swears-in New Interim Chief Assistant Prosecutor

Mayor Frank G. Jackson administered the oath of office to Kimberly G. Barnett-Mills, who will serve as the City of Cleveland’s new Interim Chief Assistant Prosecutor. The Chief Assistant Prosecutor acts on behalf of the Director of Law in the Municipal Court and supervises all of Cleveland’s Assistant Prosecutors.

    The City of Cleveland is establishing a Community Benefit Policy to help further local investment in Cleveland.

  • New Gun Legislation for Cleveland

    In July 2014, Mayor Frank G. Jackson proposed new gun legislation to City Council. Since that time, the Jackson Administration has worked together on the proposed legislation with City Council President Kevin Kelley and Councilman and Chairman of the Public Safety Committee Matt Zone at great length.

    The Mayor's Office has released the transcripts of a press conference about Department of Justice findings regarding the Cleveland Police, which was held at Cleveland City Hall on Thursday, December 11, 2014.

  • 2014 Capital Improvement Program Now Available Online

    A capital improvement plan forecasts a community's infrastructure, facility and equipment needs, and creates a strategy for funding and implementing projects designed to address those needs. The Jackson Administration reinitiated the Capital Improvement Program in 2007 to better plan public investments.

  • Complaint for Preliminary and Permanent Injunction

    The City of Cleveland filed a lawsuit in federal court to address the gap in trauma care created by the closure of Huron Hospital. The goal is to ensure that the east side of Cleveland has access to a trauma center and to support EMS services citywide.

  • Rebuilding Cleveland: 2011 Five Year Capital Improvement

    In 2007, Mayor Frank G. Jackson re-instated the Five Year Capital Improvement Plan to rebuild the City of Cleveland in an equitable way, using the program to put Clevelanders to work at creating a more vibrant and sustainable community.
