This Division provides weekly collection of waste from 155,000 Cleveland homes, the West Side Market, Fire and Police Stations, the Justice Center, City Hall and other City buildings, and public areas.
It also places dumpsters at neighborhood events and community functions and plays an active role in special cleanup programs. Dumpsters are also available for commercial accounts and homeowners.
Cleveland's recycling program grows larger every year as the City works in partnership with the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District.
The City holds several annual recycling roundups and recycles Christmas trees into free mulch for residents in the Spring. Residents do not have to sort or bundle items for recycling at city-wide drop sites, and do not have to use blue bags. -More
