135th Cleveland Police Academy: New Recruits Begin Training in Columbus

Mayor Frank G. Jackson, Safety Director Michael McGrath and Chief of Police Calvin D. Williams announce the start of the 135th Police Academy class of the Cleveland Division of Police on Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Fifty new recruits reported to the muni lot in order to be transported to Columbus, Ohio for training at the Training Academy of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

  • Departments of Aging, Public Safety Offer Care Call Services

    Cleveland Care Calls is an automated telephone reassurance system being offered to Cleveland Senior Citizens by the Departments of Aging and Public Safety. Through this computerized system, the senior receives a call, on days they request, to check on their well-being.

  • Request for Qualification for Facilitator Services

    The City of Cleveland Community Police Commission is soliciting a Request for Qualification from qualified individuals or firm interested in providing facilitator services on February 20th, 2016, 8:30a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
