Mayor Jackson Swears-in New Commander for the Bureau of Special Investigations

Mayor Frank G. Jackson was joined by the Councilman Matt Zone (Ward 15), Director of Public Safety Michael McGrath, Chief of Police Calvin Williams and other public safety members to administer the oath of office to Captain James P. McPike. Mayor Jackson swore Captain McPike to the City of Cleveland Public Safety’s Division of Police as the newest Commander for the Bureau of Special Investigations. In additional, family members and friends were also in attendance at Commander McPike’s swearing in ceremony.

    The Greater Cleveland Peace Officers Memorial Society is proud to present the Cleveland International Tattoo Saturday, May 21 at 7 p.m. in honor of fallen heroes. The 2016 Tattoo will feature the USMC Quantico Band as well as bagpipes and drums, dance and song.
