Online Crime Reporting System
The Online Crime Reporting System is designed to make it easier and more convenient to file a police report without leaving home; however, not every crime can be reported using this system.
If this is an emergency, if a crime is in progress or someone is hurt or threatened, dial 911 immediately.
The following incidents can be reported on the Online Crime Reporting System:
Filing a false police report is a crime. You must be 18 or older to use the Online Crime Reporting System. Before you begin, be sure you have a valid email address, pop-up blocking software is turned off, and you have all the information related to the incident available in front of you.
Once your report is complete, the following words will appear: "Your online police report has been submitted." You will then be given a police report case number and will be directed to print a copy for your records. Upon review, if further investigation is needed, you will be contacted via email. A final confirmation with a permanent report number will be emailed to you. Please add OhClevelandPd@Coplogic.com to your email contacts so your report does not get rejected as spam. Please note this address cannot receive emails.
