536. What are some specific things I can tell my child to help keep them safe online?

-Never arrange a face-to-face meeting with someone they met on-line
-Never post their photo on the Internet or on-line service to people they do not personally know
-Never give out identifying information (name, home address, school name, or telephone number)
-Never download pictures from an unknown source- there is a good chance there could be sexually explicit images
-Never respond to messages or bulletin board postings that are suggestive, obscene, belligerent, or harassing
-Whatever they are told on-line may or may not be true

914. Are there safety and prevention programs available for children and youth?

There are programs available from the Divisions of Police, Fire and EMS. See the City's kids and youth safety education page here.

37. Where can I get CPR training?
