How much is a parking ticket?

$25 for standard parking violation
$35 for rush hour
$50 for bus stop, fire hydrant
$250 for handicap space

Yes. In order to legally park at one you must have a handicap tag on your rear-view mirror or a handicap license plate.

Will I get a ticket if I park at a broken meter?

Yes. The ticket writer does not have the authority to determine if a meter if broken. If this happens to you, call the Division of Parking Facilities at 664-3566 and report the outage and the ticket number.

Do the parking meters accept dollar bills and credit cards?

Single space meters do not accept dollar bills or credit cards at this time. Multi-space meters located on West 6th St will accept credit/debit cards (Mastercard/Visa/Discover) and all denominations of coin but will not accept dollar bills.

No, due to safety reasons there are specific paint products used. The City has to ensure products are not lead-based.

For parks or City buildings, call the Division of Property Management at 216.420.8200. For bridges, docks, and right-of-ways, call the Division of Streets at 216.664.2510.

Times vary, but extremely offensive or threatening graffiti is removed as quickly as weather and scheduling permit.
