Cudell Fine Arts End of Summer Cookout- a Time for Reflection About a Great Summer in Cleveland!

A young attendee at the Cudell Fine Arts End of Summer Cookout on August 11th told the local police patrol officer all about her summer. Cudell Fine Arts offers activites for all ages including crafts, jewelry design, fabric arts, recycled art and ceramics and pottery.

Recreation Centers: Weekdays 11:30 am to 8 pm, Saturdays 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
Playground Summer Staff: Weekdays 9:30 am to 6 pm

There are recreational opportunities and cultural experiences for all ages and interest groups. Recreational programs and swimming are free for City of Cleveland residents. Fees apply to facility rental.

    Seasonal activities at City of Cleveland Recreation Centers include organized sports, playground activities, performance arts, ice skating, camping, and more.   • City Recreation Volunteer Openings Available Year-Round

    The Division of Recreation is seeking volunteers. Recreation center volunteers enrich the community in several areas including the arts, sports, education, and mentoring. These generous individuals are from diverse backgrounds and include people of all ages from recent graduates seeking practical experience, to retirees with spare time to share. 

  • Bike Rack Service Available Downtown on East 4th

    The service comes complete with parking spaces, personal lockers, and changing/shower facilities at 2148 East 4th. Those needing more information may call 216.771.7120.

  • League Park's Baseball Heritage Museum Gift Shop Offers Cleveland Baseball Souvenirs

    Professional Cleveland sports teams had their start at historic League Park. It's now home to the Baseball Heritage Museum, which offers keepsakes including mugs, t-shirts, baseballs, and League Park History DVD's, all at reasonable prices.

This program encompasses a variety of classes and activities at various recreational centers. Activities include aquacise, arts & crafts, aerobics, chess, checkers and other social activities


Camp Forbes Senior Program

Each Fall, the Division of Recreation invites senior groups to take part in a day of activities. Seniors have the opportunity to socialize, exercise, eat a well-balanced hot lunch, and take part in a variety of planned activities. Senior groups are registered on a first-come, first-served basis. The program culminates with five separate holiday parties with all of the trimmings and a visit from Santa Claus himself.
