The Department of Public Works directs and controls eight divisions: Motor Vehicle Maintenance, Parking, Park Maintenance, Property Management, Recreation, Streets, Traffic Engineering, and Waste collection and oversees the Public Auditorium, West Side Market, Cleveland Browns stadium, on-street parking, and all City owned off-street parking facilities.

Puritas Ave Resurfacing Project
Phase I of the resurfacing project along Puritas Avenue from Rocky River Dr (SW237) to West 130th St is expected to last from March until November 2014. This phase will consist of work on westbound lanes on the north side of Puritas Avenue from SR 237 to West 150th St.   more

Cleveland’s after school meals program begins September 3, 2013. School children ages 5 through 18 can enjoy a healthy meal after school at any city recreation center Monday through Friday when the Cleveland Metropolitan School District is in session and during winter and spring breaks.   more
