How to Navigate the City of Cleveland’s Hiring Process

The "How to Navigate the City of Cleveland’s Hiring Process” workshop was designed to help the public learn how to navigate the City’s hiring process and gain insight into the steps involved in becoming employed. Hundreds of attendees were provided with free resource handouts and instructions to assist with navigating the City’s hiring process. This informational session was held at the Cleveland Public Auditorium on Lakeside Avenue.

This department provides City employees with services regarding wage and salary administration, benefits, safety and rehabilitation, labor relations, education and research, affirmative action, and health.

It posts open positions and coordinates the hiring of new employees in partnership with the Civil Service Commission.

Enrollment Guides

During Online Open Enrollment, beginning March 6 and ending March 23, 2015, City employees may add or delete coverage or switch from one health care plan to another. New enrollments and/or changes will be effective April 1, 2015.
