How to Navigate the City of Cleveland’s Hiring Process

The "How to Navigate the City of Cleveland’s Hiring Process” workshop was designed to help the public learn how to navigate the City’s hiring process and gain insight into the steps involved in becoming employed. Hundreds of attendees were provided with free resource handouts and instructions to assist with navigating the City’s hiring process. This informational session was held at the Cleveland Public Auditorium on Lakeside Avenue.

This department provides City employees with services regarding wage and salary administration, benefits, safety and rehabilitation, labor relations, education and research, affirmative action, and health.

It posts open positions and coordinates the hiring of new employees in partnership with the Civil Service Commission.

"Navigating the Hiring Process" is an information session that teaches prospective applicants who are interested in working for the City of Cleveland about applying online, civil service announcements and testing, and more. This session is open to the public and will be held at Saturday, December 3rd from 9am to Noon at Cleveland Public Auditorium.
