Professional Services to provide Fire and Extended Coverage Insurance Consulting
The City of Cleveland (City), Division of Cleveland Public Power (CPP), through its Director of Public Utilities (Director), is soliciting proposals from qualified firms interested in providing professional services to The City of Cleveland?s Division of Cleveland Public Power to help provide the below referenced services. The services required are for the following:
The City of Cleveland, Ohio is seeking Proposals from insurance consultants (Respondents) to assist in Cleveland Public Power?s (CPP?s) procurement of fire and extended coverage property insurance for major CPP facilities including three service centers, certain electrical substations, three combustion turbine generators and CPP?s headquarters building at 1300 Lakeside Avenue in Cleveland. The term of the new policy will run from May 1, 2013 to at least April 30, 2014 though CPP is requesting proposals for longer terms as well. A summary of the coverage in the current policy is included as Appendix A to this RFP. CPP anticipates requesting similar coverage in the new policy.
CPP procures insurance through a Request for Proposal process. An RFP was prepared several years ago and it is anticipated that the selected Respondent will utilize that RFP without substantial changes. The insurance procurement will include certain loss control services such as transformer oil testing and infrared inspection.
