Division of Purchases & Supplies

The Division of Purchases & Supplies is the central office through which all competitively-bid purchases for the City are made, under regulations by ordinance and by the direction of the Board of Control to ensure fairness, transparency, and best value.


  • MBE/FBE/Small Business Open Houses

    On the first Tuesday of every month at City Hall, Room 128 from 10am to Noon, the Division of Purchasing hosts Open Houses for minority owned, female owned, and small businesses to educate attendees on competing for City business. Participants meet one-on-one with buyers assigned to purchase their type of commodities and meet with representatives from the Office of Equal Opportunity. Registration is not required. NOTE: Due to the July 4th Holiday, the July Open House will be held on Tuesday, July 11th from 10:00 am until Noon.
