The Division of Assessments and Licenses provides administrative, regulatory and financial services for constituents and other city divisions. Services include:
Issuance and enforcement of various permits and licenses
Business tax administration
Invoice and/or collection of special improvement districts, assessments, and other city services
Inspection of weighing and measuring devices throughout the City of Cleveland
2015 Waste Collection Fee Exemption Packets Available These forms are for qualified property owners of homes that are vacant or multi level dwelling property owners with vacant units. The form must be completed and returned by March 31, 2015. -more
Domestic Partner Registry

Registrants for Domestic Partnerships* must be 18 or older, and neither may be married or in an existing domestic partnership with someone else. Registrants can deliver or mail a completed application form and $55 to the Division of Assessments and Licenses at the above address. Acceptable forms of in-person payment include money order, check, or cashiers check (made out to the City of Cleveland); cash, or credit/debit card. Photo ID is required to enter the building. Those registering via mail may pay by check or money order only.
