February 3, 2010: Cleveland Harbor Dredging Summit

Cleveland Harbor Dredging Summit Director Tracey Nichols will disciss the City’s Job Ready Sites Redevelopment project at the old Coke Plant. The City desired to incorporate sustainable practices in the project. During the planning process, the City realized that removing CDF material and using it as fill for the site would both help with the dredging issues the Cleveland Port is facing and provide appropriate fill material for the redevelopment project. She will discuss how this process might be duplicated and what some of the issues are in using dredge materials on brownfield sites. More
