Mayor Frank G. Jackson is bringing together a diverse group of people vested in and dedicated to Cleveland to use their vast knowledge and imagination to create an action plan for building a green economy for Cleveland’s future.
To be successful, we need everyone at the table. Those chosen to participate in the summit are needed for the specific knowledge or perspective they bring to the table. We are seeking people from every sector of Cleveland’s community – corporate executives, blue collar workers, civic leaders, artists, neighborhood residents, students, retirees, elected officials and regional stakeholders – to participate in this three-day summit using the Appreciative Inquiry (AI) method.
AI is a collaborative, interactive, and action oriented process for creating change. At the end of the three days, the Summit’s participants will have generated a ten year action plan for Cleveland’s economic future, guiding our efforts through 2019. Following the summit, the City and its stakeholders will work to implement the action items identified at the summit.
Because of the unique nature of the AI process, participants must attend all three days of this summit. A firm commitment is required in order for applicants to obtain an appointment to the Summit team.
