CLEVELAND –   Pipeline infrastructure improvements begin on Friday, June 23, 2017, weather permitting. It includes work on the following streets:

  • E. 116 – From Kinsman north to Imperial Ave.
  • E. 118 – From Kinsman north to Imperial Ave.
  • Ely – From E. 116 to E. 118
  • Luke – From the intersection of E. 116, westerly 250 feet.

The project scope is to replace the old steel mainline with new plastic mainline in the sidewalk area. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times on two lane side streets   (E. 118, Ely and Luke) with traffic control personnel in the work zone(s) directing traffic.  On E. 116 a work zone will be established during working hours in the curb lane.  The zone will be removed after each day’s work.  In addition, a Law Enforcement Officer (L.E.O.) will be present at all signalized intersections. Access to adjacent driveways will be maintained throughout construction as well. The work will take place during daytime hours from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This project is scheduled for completion in October 2017.
