Expect additional traffic notices as work progresses

CLEVELAND –   This Dominion East Ohio Gas Company’s pipeline infrastructure improvement project is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 and includes work on the following streets:

    • Harvard Avenue – From Feiner Drive to East 189th Street
    • Glendale Avenue – From Jo Ann Drive to East 186th Street
    • East 186th Street – From East 188th Street to Harvard Avenue
    • East 187th Street – From Harvard Avenue to Judson Drive
    • East 188th Street – From Invermere Avenue to Harvard Avenue
    • East 189th Street – From East 188th Street to Harvard Avenue

The project scope is to replace the old steel mainline with new plastic mainline in the sidewalk area. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times on all two lane side-streets.  Traffic control personnel will be present in the work zone(s) directing traffic.  Access to adjacent driveways will be maintained throughout construction.  On Harvard Avenue, a minimum of one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times.  

A Law Enforcement Officer (L.E.O.) will be present at all signalized intersections (East 187th street and Harvard Avenue).  The work will take place Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  

This project is scheduled for completion by the end of August 2018.  Temporary, 2” thick sidewalk will be installed until permanent sidewalk can be installed in the Spring 2018.  Final grading and landscaping will immediately follow permanent sidewalk installation.
