Pipeline Infrastructure Improvements Update

Dominion Energy Ohio Gas Pipeline Infrastructure Replacement Project – PIR 2849 
Fulton Road & Chatham Avenue
(City of Cleveland - Ward 3)

CLEVELAND – On Tuesday, August 21, 2018 Dominion Energy Ohio’s gas pipeline infrastructure improvement project will begin on the following streets:

    • Fulton Road – Lorain Avenue to Bailey Avenue.
    • West 36th Street – 2106 West 36th Street to 2343 West 36th Street
    • West 37th Street – Bailey Avenue to 2323 West 37th Street
    • West 38th Street – Lorain Avenue to 2343 West 38th Street
    • West 40th Street – Bailey Avenue to 2340 West 40th Street
    • Elvira Avenue – Chatham Avenue to Siam Avenue
    • Chatham Avenue – West 38th Street to Fulton Road
    • Siam Avenue – West 38th Street to Fulton Road
    • Monroe Avenue – Fulton Road to 3228 Monroe Avenue

The improvements include replacing the old steel mainline with a new plastic mainline in the sidewalk area. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times within the project limits with traffic control personnel directing traffic flow.  Access to adjacent driveways will be maintained throughout construction. A Law Enforcement Officer will be present at all signalized intersections.  All work zones will be removed at the end of each work day.  The work will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This project is scheduled for completion in November 2018.
