Expect additional traffic notices as work progresses

CLEVELAND –   Pipeline infrastructure improvements begin on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 and include work on the following streets:

  • W. 150th Street – Replacement of two gas lines across West 150th Street located approximately 170’ south of the intersection of Puritas Avenue and West 150th Street. Additional pipeline work on the west side of West 150th Street in the tree lawn and sidewalk areas extending approximately 50 feet in each direction from the crossover.

The project scope is to replace the old steel intermediate pressure and low pressure mainlines and valves with new coated steel and plastic mainlines and valves. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times in each direction on West 150th Street with traffic control personnel in the work zone(s) directing traffic.  A Law Enforcement Officer (L.E.O.) will be present at all signalized intersections.  Access to adjacent driveways will be maintained throughout construction and the work will take place Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  

This project is scheduled for completion in October 2017.
