City of Cleveland and XDL Host XDL Freeride Fest! Aug. 16-17

CLEVELAND – The City of Cleveland, in collaboration with XDL Championship Series, will host the XDL Freeride Festival Aug. 16 -17 at the Municipal Lot. The XDL Freeride Fest will feature street freestyle competitions, practice and rider safety sessions, food trucks and activities for the whole family. View and download the schedule of events.

WHAT: The XDL Freeride Fest will include street freestyle competitions interactive attractions and family-friendly activities to promote rider safety.

WHEN: Friday, August 16 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. (pre-event practices) Saturday, August 17 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (main events/best photo opps)

WHERE: Cleveland Municipal Lot 1500 S. Marginal Rd., Cleveland, Ohio 44114

WHY: The XDL Freeride Fest is part of the City of Cleveland’s efforts to make bike riding a safe and accessible sport. Cleveland has also incorporated USA BMX STEM curriculum into Camp Forbes’ summer programs to give youth the opportunity to build and design a model BMX track. In addition, the city is reviewing Request for Proposals to seek the services of a consultant to provide guidance to city staff for the development of an OHV and BMX Park.
