Expect additional traffic notices as work progresses

CLEVELAND –   Dominion Energy Ohio’s gas pipeline infrastructure improvement project will begin on Monday, March 12, 2018 and includes work on the following street:

  • Payne Avenue – From East 34th Street to East 40th Street.

The project scope is to replace the old steel mainline with new plastic mainline in the sidewalk area on both the north and south sides of Payne Avenue. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times in each direction on Payne Avenue through the work zone with traffic control personnel in the work zone directing traffic.  Access to adjacent driveways will be maintained throughout construction. The work will take place Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  

Temporary, 2” thick sidewalk will be installed until permanent sidewalk can be installed in spring 2018.  Final grading and landscaping will immediately follow the permanent sidewalk installation.
