Cleveland Water Crews Repairing Valve on Memorial Shoreway

Friday, February 8, 2019

CLEVELAND – The City of Cleveland Water crews are working on repairs to shut off valve that is leaking. As a result, crews will need to close down two eastbound lanes of traffic on the Memorial Shoreway through the weekend.

The two eastbound lanes are closed between West 45th and West 58th Streets. The West 45th exit ramp will remain open to traffic.

The road closure will take effect beginning Friday morning. Crews have set up two arrow boards ahead of the closure to alert motorists.

Once the road closure is in place, Cleveland Water Pipe Repair Crews will begin excavating the road in order to repair the valve.
